Established in the mid-1990s, Ottawa’s Grantmakers’ Forum (GMF) consists of public and private funding agencies from local, provincial and national organizations who meet bi-monthly to share best practices and examine emerging issues and funding priorities. Chaired and hosted by the Ottawa Community Foundation, the Forum seeks to transform grantmaking by leveraging partnerships and resources through collaboration for greater community impact.

Members of the Grantmakers’ Forum include the Ottawa Community Foundation; the City of Ottawa; United Way Ottawa; the Ontario Trillium Foundation; the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth; the Champlain Local Health Integration Network; Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada; Citizenship and Immigration Canada; Service Canada; Telus; the Ottawa Dragonboat Festival; and the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation.
