The 100 Men Who Care North Grenville group was formed in June, 2017, when six men met to discuss a program developed by Karen Dunigan, a business leader and former mayor of Jackson Michigan. She started the fundraising program when she learned of the need for 300 baby cribs for low income mothers and families. In less than an hour she raised $12,800. Since 2006, the 100 Who Care Alliance has grown to hundreds of chapters worldwide. In Canada there are now over 201 chapters which include mixed groups, women’s groups, men’s groups, and kids & teens groups.

100 Men Who Care North Grenville is a volunteer group where 100% of the funds raised are donated to local CRA registered charities. We are a diverse group of men from different socio-economic backgrounds including a wide range of ages. However, we all have one thing in common: we’re committed to making a difference in our community.

Our mission is simple: make a direct, immediate, and positive impact on the lives of our neighbours and community.

4 times a year

We meet quarterly for approximately one hour, three charities are selected in advance by member vote.  At the meeting charities provide short presentations and a primary recipient is selected by secret ballot, the other presenters are awarded $500 each with the primary recipient receiving the remaining balance. Our goal is quarterly donations of $10,000 to enable local charities to provide much needed services and support within our community.
