Dianne is an experienced Executive Director and community developer with 40 years of experience working for equity, effective community supports, and community economic development.

Dianne is currently the Executive Director of the Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton and was previously Executive Director of the Social Planning Council of Ottawa from 2002-2022. Throughout her career in the charitable and non-profit sector, she has developed a strong commitment to achieving meaningful impact for the community, with over 30 years experience in community-based research, evaluation, policy development and network building on issues as diverse as community economic development, equitable neighbourhoods, supporting racialized community leadership and anti-racism, food security, culturally-based dementia supports, youth employment, healthy child development, mainstreaming diversity in social services, immigrant workers’ rights, inclusion for people with disabilities, food security, housing and homelessness, and culturally-based/culturally-safe community health approaches.

Dianne also has a strong background in community-based and applied research, data analysis, evaluation methodologies, and partnership building in the community.
