This fund is a tribute to extend the spirit of an enthusiastic husband, father, friend, athlete, and mentor. Jean was the driver for bringing community together to participate in outdoor activities, regardless of skill level. This fund will be the driver for continuing this tradition by providing annual grants to disadvantaged youth through a local, registered charity. The grants will provide access to experiential education and outdoor sports activities.

This fund is established within the Ottawa Community Foundation, a registered public foundation (BN:11922 7981 RR 0001).
