In memory of Colin Beaumont (1940–2025), Colin’s Future Fund honours his legacy by helping OrKidstra empower kids and build community through the transformative power of music.
A “self-described curmudgeon with a keen mind and a dry sense of humour,” Colin, alongside his wife Jane, was a long-time supporter of OrKidstra’s mission to help children from equity-deserving Ottawa communities reach their potential through music. Described by Jane as “one of Colin’s favourite charities,” his generosity and belief in the power of community will live on every time a young person shares the gift of music.
Colin’s Future Fund will help OrKidstra strengthen its focus on mentorship, both student-to-student and teacher-to-teacher, as we cultivate the next generation of leaders in our community. Colin Beaumont’s legacy will continue to guide the way. Thank you for your support for Colin’s Future Fund.
