The Devon Haye Memorial Fund was created to carry on the mission and legacy of McGill student and would-be entrepreneur, Devon Haye, who passed away on July 20, 2020 after a two-year battle with cancer.
Devon was passionate about big ideas that would make the world more sustainable, equitable, and thoughtful. Even towards the end of his life, Devon remained committed to supporting these tenets through academic and industry research as well as drafting dozens of ideas and business plans for how to rectify the injustices of the world. Devon’s life will not be marked by how short it was or encapsulated by his sickness; the impact that he had in the sustainable development space as well as his friends’ and family’s hearts will continue to reverberate. We can’t imagine a life without Devon—and we don’t want to—so we’ve created this fund to continue his legacy and impact.
