The Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa is nonprofit organization advocating for and serving women who have been criminalized or are at risk of criminalization. We offer prison in-reach, court support, diversion programs, counselling, housing support, and a drop-in centre, all at no cost to our clients. We also run two houses: one for women who are released from jail on bail and one for women on probation or parole allowing them to leave jail or prison while offering them support during the transition.
Coming in 2020 is Diana’s Place, a space for women to reconnect with their children after being separated due to incarceration in a safe, homey environment
