A talented young pianist and songwriter, Erin Grasmeyer performed at Bluesfest and would busk around Ottawa with her brother Cam and their friends, raising money for many causes.

In April 2018, shortly after receiving a scholarship offer for the University of Toronto’s music program, Erin was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. During her treatment, she continued to work towards achieving her grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music. Erin started a piano teaching business in September 2018 and quickly attracted 30 students. A year later, Erin passed away at the age of 19.

Erin made this world a better place and enriched the lives of those around her. This fund will benefit Glebe graduating students who embody Erin’s gift of light, love, laughter, kindness and music.
