The Living in the Ring Foundation honours the memory of Marc Paradis. Marc was a loving and cheerful son, brother, husband, father, educator, and friend. When diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma, Marc, like many others, was abruptly thrust into a state of vulnerability. Every single time he was knocked down from the illness, or treatment, he chose to get back up.

Each day, youth in our community also meet enormous challenges that fuel despair and vulnerability. That’s why this fund exists. Living in the ring refers to making the conscious choice to show up–to step into the arena, get knocked down, but stand up and try again. We know good things can come from this state of mind, and from unexpected places.

With your support, we can help vulnerable youth who face each day in the unknown to find their way to live in the ring.
