The Ottawa Aboriginal Coalition (OAC) is an alliance of eight (8) Indigenous delivery organizations that provide front-line programs and services to Indigenous people living in Ottawa. The Coalition is comprised of the following charitable organizations: Gignul Non-profit Housing, Inuit Non-Profit Housing, Inuuqatigiit Centre, Kagita Mikam, Makonsag Aboriginal Head Start, Minwaashin Lodge, Odawa Native Friendship Centre and Tewegan Aboriginal Youth Housing. This fund supports partnerships and collaborations OAC develops with registered charities, including their member organizations.

Together, we annually serve 20,000 of the 44,000 Indigenous community members who call Ottawa home. We are the united voice for Indigenous people who live and thrive in Ottawa. The OAC advocates at the community, municipal, provincial and federal levels to educate and raise awareness on Indigenous issues and the unique circumstances and interests of urban Indigenous people in Ottawa.
