Gary joined the Foundation in 2008 after a brief career as a software engineer. After much contemplation, Gary decided to make a major switch in careers from IT to finance and accounting. For Gary, a career in finance would give him more opportunities, provide more social interactions and allow him to learn how local communities develop. As a Comptroller, Gary oversees the Foundation’s accounting and finance system. When he’s not working, one of Gary’s favorite things to do is to go fishing, which allows him to enjoy peaceful moments and beautiful scenery. Gary also enjoys studying and comparing the history and development of economic, political and culture systems over time. By looking through history of these topics, Gary wonders if it might help us understand what the future might hold.
