As Finance Associate, Ishita processes donations and payroll and provides support during the financial reporting cycle. She has extensive experience in office management, grants administration, and project coordination. Ishita arrived in 2019 to familiar surroundings, having worked at the Guelph Community Foundation before moving to Ottawa.

In past positions working on projects funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada as well as Correctional Service Canada, Ishita engaged with diverse clientele in the areas of community engagement, public awareness, integration, and settlement. Ishita’s experience in the charitable sector includes working at Bracelet of Hope, an organization committed to ending the AIDS pandemic in Lesotho, Africa.

Ishita is passionate about helping others and feels pride in applying her skills, knowledge and experience to support noble causes. She has volunteered with the Guelph Citizenship Committee and helped organize citizenship ceremonies in collaboration with the Institute of Canadian Citizenship and the Rotary Club of Guelph.

She is a graduate from the University of Delhi.
