The Alterna Savings Community Fund was created to support organizations in the National Capital Region that seek to address greater inclusion and equality.
It focuses on addressing the pressing issue of affordable housing. Alterna Savings is a catalyst for change and for more than two decades has helped to address socio-economic inequities through emphasis on shared value and ethical investing. Alterna Savings supports justice, inclusion, and community-building. Recognizing the changing economic landscape for all types of families, and especially families who have been excluded from generational wealth, Alterna supports groups that work to provide affordable housing, eliminate homelessness, and the multi-service delivery organizations who make up the support network around affordable housing. By partnering with these organizations, Alterna helps to amplify their work and provide peace of mind and optimism for a better future that includes gender parity and equality.
Donations to this fund will continue the momentum to create lasting change in the National Capital Region.
