JA Prezdential Summer Hoops

JA Prezdential Summer Hoops was a 6-week program during July and August that engaged 15 youths, 4 mentors, and special guests. Students learned about running a business from entrepreneurs Shannon Ferguson and Kris McCarthy of FanSaves and Tariq Sbiet of North Pole Hoops. The OCF has previously provided support to both Prezdential and JA Ottawa.

Indspire is an Indigenous national registered charity that invests in the education and achievement of Indigenous people. With the support of its funding partners, Indspire provides financial awards, delivers programs, and shares resources with the goal of improving educational outcomes for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students.
