Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands – A Grateful Family’s Story

Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands is one of several organizations that received support from 100 Women Who Care North Grenville, which set up its fund at the Ottawa Community Foundation. 100 Women Who Care North Grenville follows the model of other chapters across North America that bring together community-minded women to contribute to the important work of local charities.

Article: Hampton Iona Community Group establishes charitable fund (Kitchissippi Times)

Throughout Kitchissippi Ward there are a number of charities and not-for-profit organizations that serve our community. A common theme amongst most of these organizations is the need for funding. The Hampton Iona Community Group (HICG) has established a charitable fund with the Ottawa Community Foundation that is designed to support these types of organizations in Kitchissippi.
