Andy Cohen worked all his life to promote fairness, fun, and the unorthodox. He believed deeply in his family, his friends, the outdoors, and the Expos. He had the ability to make things happen in all sorts of ways – whether telling a story, making music, cooking and entertaining, or mobilizing people for a campaign or special event – and to be involved with Andy meant to be committed and usually to be laughing.
Andy lived every moment of his life with gusto. He was a dedicated social activist who believed that everyone deserved to live an honourable life. It is in this spirit that Andy’s family, many friends, and colleagues set up this permanent memorial fund so that in Andy’s name, good things can continue to happen.
