Tais has been with the Foundation since 2014 and is responsible for coordinating the Community Grants Program, supporting the work of the Grants Committee, and the Foundation’s strategic grant making initiatives. As a member of the Community Engagement Team, Tais has also sat on review committees for United Way Ottawa, supported the work of the Community Development Framework, and has served as an instructor on grant proposal writing with Volunteer Ottawa.
Before joining the Foundation, Tais worked at Causeway Work Centre where he helped set up a social enterprise dedicated to providing supportive employment.
A native of Chelsea, Quebec, Tais can usually be found hiking, skiing in Gatineau Park, or working on home renovation projects during his free time.
