On behalf of the Board, I would like to announce the departure of our President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Marco Pagani.
I want to thank Marco for his passion, vision and service to the OCF over the last eight and half years including leading the organization through the global pandemic. During his tenure, Marco has gained recognition as a strategic thinker and innovator. He has made a lasting impact on the Ottawa community. The OCF Board and the staff team wish him all the best in the future.
Grace Xin, the Vice President of Philanthropic Services & Community building, has been appointed as the interim President & CEO effective immediately while the search for a new leader of the Foundation is being undertaken.
The Ottawa Community Foundation was founded in 1987 for the people of Ottawa by the people of Ottawa. As a charity for charities and empowered by the generosity of our donors, we leverage philanthropic resources to strengthen and enable the charitable sector in the National Capital Region and beyond. As an efficient, inclusive, and diverse giving platform, we support various charitable causes by helping philanthropic-minded citizens craft their legacies and make the community a better place for all.
When change is the only thing that does not change, the Ottawa Community Foundation will remain steadfast in its role as a dedicated travel guide and travel companion for individuals, families and organizations on a philanthropic journey that we share together.
